Chest Pain Center

Oak Hill Hospital has received recognition as an Accredited Chest Pain Center (CPC) with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) by the Society of Chest Pain Centers.

Heart Attack Symptoms

  • Pressure, fullness, squeezing pain in the center of the chest, spreading to the neck, shoulder or jaw
  • Chest discomfort with lightheadedness, fainting, sweating nausea, or shortness of breath
  • Upper abdominal pressure or discomfort
  • Lower chest discomfort
  • Back Pain
  • Unusual fatigue
  • Unusual shortness or breath
  • Dizziness
  • Nausea

Cardiac Catheterization

Early diagnosis of cardiovascular disease is critical. For optimal outcomes, Heart Institute at Oak Hill Hospital’s new cath lab uses latest generation imaging equipment and techniques for cardiac diagnostic testing. View list of available procedures »

Open Heart Surgery

Patients will be cared for in the new CV Recovery Unit or the new CV Intensive Care Unit at Heart Institute at Oak Hill Hospital, featuring private rooms with continuous bedside cardiac monitoring, portable telemetry monitoring and non invasive blood pressure monitoring.

Valve Treatment

Catheter-based or surgical repair for defective valves, or heart valve replacement surgery, an open-heart surgery procedure in which a defective valve is replaced with either a biological or mechanical valve.
